Which systems work
Download the file with the button above, on the phone itself. If it won’t download, take the copy on the Yandex Cloud mirror. Open the file from the download notification. The phone asks to let the browser install apps. Allow it, and all that’s left is to tap Install.
Bebra VPN starts in a guest account. A new guest has no subscription, so the first tap on a country opens the Buy Bebra VPN sheet. New versions go up on this same page. The number under the button is the latest one, and when it’s newer than yours, download the file again. It installs right on top of the Bebra VPN you have, there’s nothing to uninstall, and your account stays the same.
Tap Account → Sign out, then pick how to sign in.
To save battery, Huawei phones close apps that stay in the background for long, and the VPN can go down with the app. Two settings usually help, one in Bebra VPN and one on the phone.
Account → Settings → Battery saving → Add to exceptions
Say yes in the system dialog. Once the exception is added, this block disappears from Settings.
Settings → search for App launch → Bebra
Turn off Manage automatically. The phone then offers manual switches, and Run in background should stay on.
On the website you can pay by card or with crypto.

Then Google Play is the easier route, the same as on any Android phone, and the app updates from there by itself. The file on this page is for phones that have no Google store.
Right in the app. Without Google services, the Buy Bebra VPN sheet takes payment through a web checkout, so Google Play isn’t needed. You can also pay here on the website. Choose a plan above and use your account’s e-mail at checkout, and the plan shows up in the app by itself. If you pay on the website and you’re still a guest in the app, tap Account → Link e-mail first.
With a code from a device where that account is already open. There, tap Account → Sign in on another device. On the Huawei, sign out of the guest account, choose Sign in with code and enter the eight digits within three minutes. Your dashboard shows a code too, under Show code. Signing in with Google won’t work here, because it needs Google services.
Huawei’s own help lists two more settings under Battery. Turn off Power saving mode, and in More battery settings turn on Stay connected when device sleeps. Still stuck? Write to [email protected]. Support works around the clock.
